Summary
Amends the Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act to prohibit knowingly discharging a firearm within 1,000 feet of any building or land owned or leased by the Federal Government. Makes exceptions for the otherwise lawful discharge of a firearm: (1) by a law enforcement officer or a Federal officer or employee; (2) at a shooting range; or (3) while hunting on Federal land.
