Summary
Requires the Secretary of Defense to increase the number of computers located in combat zones designated in connection with Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom so that the total number of such computers available for members of the Armed Forces to send and receive personal electronic mail is at least double that available as of December 31, 2004. Provides authorized funding sources to achieve such increase. Authorizes the Secretary to accept gifts and donations to defray computer acquisition, installation, and maintenance costs. Prohibits the Secretary from taking any action under this Act that would compromise the military objectives or mission of the Department of Defense.
