Summary
Distributed Generation Promotion Act of 2000 - Amends the Federal Power Act to require a local distribution company to interconnect its own local distribution facilities with those of a distributed generation facility if such facility: (1) pays the just, reasonable, and nondiscriminatory interconnection costs determined by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC); and (2) complies with final FERC rules pertaining to safety, reliability, and power quality standards.
