Summary
Southern Nevada Veterans Medical Center Act of 2002 - Authorizes the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to construct a major medical center in southern Nevada, consisting of a full-service patient care hospital, an outpatient clinic, and a comprehensive long-term care nursing home facility. Encourages the Secretary to: (1) co-locate the Veterans Affairs regional office at the site of such center; and (2) seek out partnerships with State and local governmental entities for sharing the cost of planning, land acquisition, construction, and maintenance of the center.
