Summary

Taiwan Identification Terminology and Label Enhancement Act or the TITLE Act This bill requires all federal agencies to use the term Taiwan instead of Chinese Taipei . The use of Chinese Taipei is allowed in (1) historical context to explain China's attempt to control Taiwan through persuasion and coercion, or (2) the formal title of a federal document. Agencies must update their websites to reflect this term no later than 14 days after enactment.
