Firearms Tracing Assistance Act of 1992 - Amends the Federal criminal code to require Federal firearms licensees to provide all record information required under the code or by the Secretary of the Treasury as may be necessary for determining the disposition of a firearm in a law enforcement investigation. Exempts violators of such provision from criminal penalties.
