Summary
Headwaters Forest National Wilderness Act of 1992 - Extends the exterior boundaries of the Six Rivers National Forest, California, to include the Six Rivers National Forest Addition to provide sound management and protection for the Redwood forest areas. Requires the Secretary of the Interior to: (1) acquire lands or interests in land within such boundaries; (2) develop and implement a land acquisition plan to address how and when such lands will be acquired; and (3) submit such plan to specified congressional committees. Authorizes appropriations. Designates such lands and the Headwaters Forest Wilderness in California as components of the National Wilderness Preservation System.
