Summary
Emergency Drought Assistance Water Transportation Act - Authorizes the Secretary of Agriculture to pay up to three-fourths of the actual cost of transporting a maximum ninety-day, or when conditions warrant, a continuing supply of water from areas in which water is in plentiful supply to rural areas and livestock producers in major disaster or emergency areas, or in areas where the Secretary determines such action necessary to protect the public health and welfare. Sets civil and criminal penalties for the unauthorized disposal of such water.
