Summary

This bill extends authority through September 30, 2023, for mentor firms to enter into mentor-protege agreements under the mentor-protege program of the Department of Defense (DOD). Additionally, the bill extends authority though September 30, 2026, for DOD to provide incentives for such firms under the program. The program incentivizes DOD contractors to offer assistance to disadvantaged small businesses to enhance such businesses' capabilities to perform as subcontractors and suppliers.
