Summary
SEC Transparency Act of 2010 - Amends the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, and the Investment Company Act of 1940 to repeal the section of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (Dodd-Frank Act) that exempts from the disclosure requirements of the Freedom of Information Act any materials submitted to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Restores or revives the provisions of law amended or repealed by the Dodd-Frank Act.
