Summary
Authorizes pay increases and bonuses to specified medical personnel of the Department of Medicine and Surgery of the Veterans Administration. (Amends 38 U.S.C. 4107) Permits each physician, dentist, or nurse in the Department of Medicine and Surgery who has completed seven years of full-time service in such Department to be granted leave with pay, under such regulations as the Administrator may prescribe, for not more than six months for study in his or her specialty and to be granted leave with pay for a three-month period for such purpose upon the completion of each additional five years of such service.
