Summary
Directs the Secretary of the Interior, through the Bureau of Land Management, and with the California Department of Fish and Game, to conduct a research program on the environmental effects on the Mono Basin, California and Nevada, of activities recommended by the Interagency Task Force on Mono Lake. Directs the Secretary of the Treasury to pay one-third of the costs of Los Angeles, until September 30, 1985, for purchasing water to replace water formerly obtained from Mono Lake.
