Summary
Amends the Federal charter of Group Hospitalization, Inc., to change the name of the organization to Blue Cross and Blue Shield of the National Capital Area. Empowers the corporation to provide for medical care as well as hospitalization and to engage in any lawful business incidental to or supportive of its business and affairs. Repeals the requirement of 15 members of the board of trustees, leaving the number of trustees, terms of office, and manner of election to be fixed by corporate by-laws. Makes the corporation liable to pay unemployment compensation.
