Summary

Barter Promotion Act of 1984 - Declares that it is the policy of the United States to promote U.S. agricultural exports and to protect the assets of the Commodity Credit Corporation, and for these purposes the Secretary of Agriculture should barter Corporation commodities for foreign goods and equipment. Authorizes supplemental appropriations to the Department of Agriculture to cover Corporation costs in acquiring agricultural commodities for such barter transactions.
