Summary
Parents’ Right to Know Act This bill requires all medical or counseling records pertaining to a student to be made available for inspection by the student's parent (upon request), unless the inspection is prohibited by a protection order. Medical or counseling record refers to a record that is in the possession of a local educational agency and relates to the medical care or academic or mental health counseling provided to a student.
