Summary
Veterans Dental and Vision Benefits Act of 2012 - Provides that, if the Secretary of Veterans Affairs determines that a veteran who is enrolled in the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) health care system and obtaining supplemental dental or vision coverage under the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program (FEHBP) is unable to pay the FEHBP premiums for such coverage because of financial hardship, such veteran shall not be responsible for such premiums. Directs the Secretary to: (1) provide outreach to inform eligible veterans of the availability of such coverage, and (2) report every three years over a nine-year period to Congress on the implementation of providing such coverage to such veterans.
