Summary

Salaries and Expenses Limitation Act - Authorizes appropriations for salaries and expenses of the Office of the Secretary of the Treasury for FY 1983. Amends the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1981 to end the permanent authorization for the international affairs functions of the Department of the Treasury. Limits the authorization of appropriations for the administration of the New York City Loan Guarantee Program and the Chrysler Corporation Loan Guarantee Program for FY 1983. Authorizes appropriations to the Bureau of the Mint for FY 1983 for all expenditures of the mints and assay offices. Limits the authorization of appropriations for FY 1983 to the Department of Housing and Urban Development for administrative and nonadministrative expenses. Limits the amount of funds which may be made available from the various funds of the Federal Housing Administration.
