A bill to amend subsection (d)(1) of section 3203, title 38, United States Code, to provide that where any veteran having neither wife nor child is being furnished hospital treatment, institutional, or domiciliary care by the Veterans' Administration, no pension in excess of $40 per month shall be paid to or for the veteran for any period after (a) the end of the second full calendar month of admission for treatment or care or (b) readmission for treatment or care within 6 months following termination of a period of treatment or care of not less than 2 full calendar months.
