Summary
Revises the method of determining the cost-of-living adjustments in the civil service compensation payable on account of the disability or death of a Federal employee. Declares that such compensation for a death or disability which occurred before March 1 of each year shall be increased on that date by an amount representing the percentage increase in the Consumer Price Index between December of the year prior to the preceding year and December of the preceding year.
