Summary

Entitles each U.S. citizen held hostage in Iran to specified payments based on the length of time such citizen is held hostage or a specified amount if the hostage is injured or dies as a result of the captivity. Requires the President to make such payments from the blocked Iranian assets within 60 days after captivity has ended. Directs the President to continue to prohibit transactions in a specified portion of the Iranian assets until such payments are made.
