Summary
Safe at Home Act of 2022 This bill requires the Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Department of Agriculture to issue regulations concerning inspections of federally assisted housing. In particular, the departments must jointly (1) review state and federal requirements for inspecting housing to ensure safety, habitability, and other aspects of housing quality; (2) identify the most stringent requirements; and (3) issue regulations to apply the identified requirements to certain housing programs administered by the departments.
