Summary
Increases the authorizations of specified appropriations, under the Land and Water Conservation Fund Act, for land and water conservation funds. Sets additional requirements on the State grant programs administered under such Act. Includes requirements that elected officials of local governmental units and representatives of multijurisdictional planning entities be consulted in the preparation of the plan. Limits to 25 percent of the total amount allocated to a State in any one year under this Act for the planning and development of sheltered facilities for recreation activities normally pursued outdoors. Requires each State to annually evaluate its grants programs under guidelines set forth by the Secretary.
