Summary

States that until December 31, 1977, the basis administrative workweek of each Federal firefighter shall be an average of 54 hours per week computed on the basis of a period of three consecutive biweekly periods. States that after such date such workweek shall be the lesser of 54 hours or one-quarter of the number of hours determined by the Secretary of Labor pursuant to the Fair Labor Standards Amendments of 1974 for tours of duty of 28 consecutive days. States that in lieu of premium pay provided for by present law, such firefighters shall be entitled to 25 percent of so much of their annual rate of basic pay as does not exceed the minimum rate of basic pay for GS-10.
