Summary
Provides that, for the purpose of making a wage survey for determining the prevailing rate of pay in order to make adjustments in Federal employees' pay, the lead agency, designated by the Civil Service Commission, shall not be required to determine whether there exists in the local wage area a number of comparable positions in private industry sufficient to establish wage schedules and rates for the principal types of positions for which the survey is made. (Amends 5 U.S.C. 5343).
