Summary
Authorizes the Federal Communications Commission to require that radios shipped in interstate commerce or imported for sale or resale to the public, and designed to receive and amplify amplitude modulated (AM) and frequency modulated (FM) broadcasts be technically capable of receiving both AM and FM broadcasts. Provides that the Commissioner may exempt from coverage under this Act such apparatus as it claims necessary and appropriate.
