Summary

Construction Industry Stabilization Act - Authorizes the Construction Industry Stabilization Committee to review all wage settlements and labor agreements in the construction industry to determine their conformance with the standards promulgated by the President pursuant to the Economic Stabilization Act of 1970, provided that the authority of the President under the Economic Stabilization Act which he utilized in creating and prescribing the functions of the Committee shall not be terminated by the expiration of the Economic Stabilization Act. Directs the Committee to prepare and present to the President and the Congress a plan for reform of the construction industry bargaining structure not later than one year following the date of enactment of this Act. Authorizes the Committee to use, with the consent of any Federal agency, the services, facilities, and personnel of such agency and to employ experts and consultants.
