Summary
Land Disposal Amendments of 1985 - Amends the Solid Waste Disposal Act to repeal the provisions of the Hazardous and Solid Waste Amendments of 1984 relating to the land disposal of liquid hazardous wastes. Prohibits the land disposal of such wastes after the date of enactment of this Act. Authorizes the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency to make grants out of Superfund to the owners and operators of hazardous waste treatment facilities to reimburse them for the difference in costs between treatment facility waste disposal and landfill waste disposal.
