Summary

Allows as creditable service for purposes of civil service retirement up to ten years' service as an employee of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, the Republican Senatorial Campaign Committee, the Democratic National Congressional Committee, or the Republican National Congressional Committee. Requires any person applying for such retirement credit to have or acquire five or more years of creditable civilian service for civil service retirement purposes. Requires computation of annuities for Members of Congress resigning between October 1, 1978, and January 3, 1979, to be based on final basic pay rather than on average pay.
