Summary
Federal Assistance Equality Act - Extends the provisions of title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to forbid discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance on the basis of sex, age, or handicap. Requires the suspension of such assistance when such discrimination is found and termination thereof if such discrimination continues. Permits the Attorney General and private persons to bring civil actions and seek appropriate relief.
