Summary
Defense Law Enforcement Officer Credential Act of 2022 This bill requires the Department of Defense (DOD) to ensure that each military department develops a standardized identification credential for DOD law enforcement officers and issues such credentials at no cost to the officers. DOD must ensure that any issued common access card clearly identifies the officer as a DOD law enforcement officer.
