Summary

Expanding Transparency for Hidden Independent Campaign Spending Act or the Ethics Act This bill requires all political committees to notify the Federal Election Commission of any contribution of $1,000 or more that is received less than 20 days (but more than 48 hours) before an election in which the committee makes a contribution, expenditure, or electioneering communication on behalf of a candidate or political committee of a political party.
