Summary

Provides a mandatory prison term of between 5 and 15 years for: (1) the use of a firearm to commit any felony subject to prosecution in United States courts; or (2) carrying a firearm unlawfully during the commission of any felony which threatens life or limb and is subject to prosecution in United States courts. Provides a mandatory sentence of not less than 10 nor more than 30 years upon a second conviction of such an offense. States that 2 or more prison terms imposed under this Act may not run concurrently.
