Summary

Federal Reports Authorship Disclosure Act of 1981 - Requires any document which is published, distributed, or transmitted by an Executive agency and which contains information derived from a report prepared by an expert or consultant pursuant to an agency contract to disclose: (1) the names of the contributing experts or consultants; (2) the duration and cost of such contract; (3) the name of the agency employee who awarded the contract; and (4) the type of procurement utilized to select the contractor. Directs each agency to submit a copy of each document to the General Accounting Office. Requires the Office to maintain each document for five years.
