Summary

Sets the basic workweek of Federal firefighters at 336 hours for each period of three consecutive biweekly pay periods until December 31, 1977, at 324 hours per period from such date until December 31, 1978, and the lesser of 324 hours and one and one-half the number of hours determined by the Secretary of Labor to be the average number of hours in tours of duty in work periods of the preceding year of persons employed by public agencies as firefighters and law enforcement personnel.
