A bill to better provide for the rights of third parties seeking to enforce court judgments directed against a witness relocated or protected by the Attorney General, while at the same time protecting the safety of such witnesses.

Summary

Amends the Federal criminal code to provide that any person relocated or protected by the Attorney General under the Organized Crime Control Act of 1970 may be served with process through the Attorney General. Requires the Attorney General to take reasonable steps to urge such individual to comply with or respond to a judgment. Allows the Attorney General to disclose the identity of such individual under circumstances where the disclosure is not likely to result in physical harm to the person and when the person does not lack the ability to comply with the judgment. Provides judicial review of an Attorney General's decision not to disclose this information.
