Summary

National Institute of Justice Technology Assistance Act of 1995 - Amends the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 to require the Director of the Bureau of Justice Assistance to provide assistance to State and local government law enforcement entities to identify, select, develop, modernize, and purchase new technologies to provide a safer environment for police officers and to more efficiently and effectively fight crime. Authorizes appropriations.
