Summary
Federal Mandate Funding Act of 1993 - Makes inapplicable to a State or local government for a two-year period any duty or requirement imposed by Federal statute or regulation that creates a Federal mandate which is not funded in part by the Federal Government. Establishes in the Treasury the Federal Mandate Assistance Fund to provide financial assistance to qualified State and local governments for complying with Federal mandates. Authorizes appropriations.
