Summary
Vietnam and Cambodia Refugee Resettlement Assistance Act - Authorizes $127,000,000 to be appropriated for a period of no more than 90 days for assistance to refugees from Vietnam and Cambodia for care, resettlement, social and welfare services, bilingual and vocational education, transportation to third countries or back to Vietnam and Cambodia if requested, and other purposes. Places a one-year moratorium on the hiring by any intelligence agency of the United States Government or by the Department of Defense of refugees who participated in the Operation Phoenix program. Directs the President to report to Congress regarding: (1) the occupations and backgrounds of refugees; and (2) those refugees who participated in the Operation Phoenix program.
