Summary

Federal Identification Systems Anti-Fraud Act of 1983 - Amends the Federal criminal code relating to fraud in connection with identification documents to require that common descriptive terms and formats be designed to reduce redundancy found in various identification systems and to facilitate positive identification of bona fide holders of such documents. Requires the President, after consultation with Federal, State, local and international authorities, to make recommendations to Congress within three years on comprehensive Federal identification systems.
