Summary
Amends the Urban Mass Transportation Act of 1964 to establish within the Urban Mass Transportation Administration a Rural Mobility Task Force to coordinate activities affecting rural and specialized transportation, and to serve as an information clearinghouse for rural program activities. Directs the Task Force to invite rural and specialized transportation operators to quarterly roundtables to advise the Task Force. Requires the Secretary of Transportation to report annually to the Congress comparing the different modes of assistance available to rural and specialized transportation with the assistance available to other urbanized areas under the Act.
