A bill to promote the foreign policy of the United States by prohibiting travel in a restricted area.

Summary

Authorizes the Secretary of State to restrict travel to areas he determines: (1) are at war; (2) are in the process of an insurrection or armed hostilities; (3) are engaging through their military forces in armed conflict with forces of the United States; or (4) are areas to which travel must be restricted in the national interest because such travel would seriously impair the conduct of United States foreign policy. Provides for a penalty of imprisonment for up to one year, or a $1,000 fine, or both, for willful violation of the restrictions of the Secretary authorized by this Act.
