Summary

Amends the Federal criminal code to require the Bureau of Prisons, at least five days prior to the release of a Federal prisoner convicted of a drug trafficking crime or crime of violence on supervised release (or at least five days prior to the date on which a prisoner on supervised release changes residence to a new jurisdiction), to so notify the chief law enforcement officer of the State and local jurisdiction in which the prisoner will reside.
