Summary

National Indian Goals and Progress Act - States that all authority for appropriations for programs for the benefit of American Indian people administered by the Bureau of Indian Affairs in the Department of the Interior and by the Indian Health Service of the Public Health Service in the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare shall be granted on an annual basis pursuant to a single annual authorization Act. Directs the Secretaries of the Department of the Interior and Department of Health, Education, and Welfare to prepare and submit to the Committees on Interior and Insular Affairs of the House of Representatives and the Senate, by February 1 of each year, an annual appropriation authorization bill for the fiscal year beginning July 1 which shall include specified provisions.
