Summary
Counterfeit Deterrence Act of 1985 - Sets forth civil and criminal penalties for possession of features or devices adapted to the making of U.S. obligations or other securities after the Secretary of the Treasury adopts a distinctive counterfeit deterrent for such obligations. Provides that the making of counterfeits includes any electronic means for the acquisition, recording, retrieval, transmission, or reproduction of obligations.
