Summary

Amends the Internal Revenue Code and title II (Old-Age, Survivors and Disability Insurance) of the Social Security Act with respect to the social security exemption for election officials and election workers employed by State and local governments to increase the allowed remuneration paid to such workers. Grants States the authority to modify coverage agreements with respect to such election employees to reflect such increase. Makes conforming changes relating to Medicare (title XVIII of the Social Security Act) coverage of the services of such election employees.
