Summary

Distinguished Law Enforcement Service Act - Establishes an honorary award, the President's Award for Distinguished Law Enforcement Service, for recognition of outstanding service by police officers of State, county, or or local governments. Provides that the award shall be presented by the President to law enforcement officers for extraordinary valor in the line of duty, or for exceptional contribution in the field of law enforcement. Directs the Attorney General to advise an assist the President in the selection of persons for the award.
