Summary

Amends the Cooperative Forestry Assistance Act of 1978 to authorize the Secretary of Agriculture to develop a forest land restoration program to provide cost-sharing assistance to private forest landowners to restore to commercial timber production forest lands damaged as a result of a natural disaster. Sets forth conditions to such assistance. Requires the landowner to develop an individual forest land restoration management plan, in cooperation with the State forester or equivalent official, as a basis for a cost-sharing agreement between the landowner and the Secretary.
