Summary
Amends the Tariff Act of 1930 to declare that duties imposed under such Act shall not apply to: (1) the cost of equipment or expense of repairs made in a foreign country with respect to LASH (Lighter Aboard Ship) barges documented under U.S. law; or (2) the cost of foreign-made repair parts for installation on such vessels in the United States or in a foreign country where they cannot be obtained from U.S. manufacturers and are imported into the United States.
