Summary

Amends Title XVI (Supplemental Security Income for the Aged, Blind, and Disabled) of the Social Security Act to exclude from an individual's income and resources, for purposes of determining eligibility for benefits under such Title, interest income on assistance funds received under the Disaster Relief Act of 1974. Extends indefinitely the exclusion of assistance received under the Disaster Relief Acts of 1974 from the income of an individual seeking benefits under the Supplemental Security Income Program.
