Summary
Missile Equipment and Technology Control Act of 1989 - Amends the Export Administration Act of 1979 to set forth measures regarding control by the United States of the transfer of nuclear-capable missile equipment and technology. Requires the President to deny the issuance of export licenses to or ban the importation of products from a foreign person that has exported or imported missile equipment and technology in violation of the Missile Technology Control Regime Annex. Prohibits the U.S. Government from procuring goods and services from such persons, except in specified circumstances.
